Advanced medical massage (MM) provides stable clinical results of somatic rehabilitation while addressing causes of pain originating in the different parts of the body. By restoring proper relations between different layers of the soft tissues, MM eliminates pathological changes formed in the soft tissues as a result of trauma, chronic overload or irritation of spinal or peripheral nerves.
Most acute soft tissue conditions resolve in 4 - 6 treatments. More chronic conditions require 12-15 visits. We also provide remarkable relief for conditions like sciatica and headaches allowing patients to reduce pain and tension free with continued treatments every 2 – 4 weeks. Once out of pain the maintenance would be 1 treatment every 4-8 weeks.
Send us your patient for whom there seems to be no answer to their neuromuscular chronic pain patterns. The patients suffering these conditions keep returning to their primary care providers after seeing multiple specialists to no avail. MM is often the answer to their problem. Allow us to show you what it can do.
MM is used in mainstream medical care in most western countries. Physicians and Scientists create and clinically test the techniques then teach them to the practitioners. In addition to treatment protocols, massage clinicians are taught to evaluate patients and think critically. As skilled massage therapists, they target the cause of chronic pain and tension with focused precision and customization.
Family practice physicians find a tremendous resource in clinically tested medical massage for those patients suffering from neuromuscular pathology who keep returning after seeing one specialist after another with little to no relief.
Specialty physicians and chiropractors who are not seeing the results they had hoped for in a specific patient will increase the probability of stable results when they combine efforts by referring to a medical massage practitioner allowing MM to enhance their treatments.
Certified Medical massage Practitioners (CMMP) also serve patients best when they work in conjunction with physicians and chiropractors. While CMMPs are able to evaluate patients to determine what soft tissue to target, diagnosing patients is outside their scope of practice. They must rely on physicians for complete diagnostics to best ensure stable clinical results.
At MORE Massage and Laser, we gladly refer patients out and collaborate with other medical care providers. Sometimes another specialty is best suited for a patient’s clinical picture. We are happy to meet quality medical care providers in other health fields to whom we can refer. Please contact us to determine how we can work together for the good of all involved.
